Tara has been practicing as an Occupational Therapist since 2010. As an OT, she has worked in various settings, including subacute rehab, Early Intervention, Day Habilitation, and schools. After starting her practice, she soon began to specialize in Assistive Technology, providing services to clients in their homes, workplaces, schools, and day programs. Tara is passionate about maximizing the independence of her clients, utilizing both rehabilitative and compensatory approaches.
Tara completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Tufts University and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts. As an undergraduate at Tufts, she studied Engineering Psychology (Human Factors and Ergonomics) with a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Tara holds the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) Certification from the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA). She has presented at the AOTA and MAOT conferences and guest lectured at Regis College.Â
